Not Your Mother 2I do not like what my mother did...
The truth she hid from and denies,
Guarded with lies
And the fake smile on her face.
Don't believe anything she says.
Today was the fist time I ever heard her say
"my daughter" is the best" to everyone around.
But to my face yelled that I was "the worst" when not a soul was found.
I am saddened to hear that she did not tell of what really happened.
She claimed she did not hurt my brothers and I.
She told everybody that I "got a silver medal"
instead of earned one.
What was between her and I were never settled.
When really she didn't come to any ceremony.
I specifically told her not to boast
to everyone that I earned a 600 on the Math CST and a gold medal.
But she did anyway and said "I need to tell everyone."
She never considers what I say and need.
"I want to show you to my friends",
she called from downstairs.
I stared down crying,
"show... Why didn't she say meet?"
She yelled to "hurry up".
But my 'fast' wasn't good enough.
It wasn't my fault
